A big welcome to Omkar Kulkarni who joins as a new PhD student in the group – Omkar finished his undergraduate studies earlier this year at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Bhopal where he completed a very successful Masters project looking at topological band structure effects in the electron phonon coupling mediated superconductor SnAs (check out the publication in PRB – https://journals.aps.org/prb/abstract/10.1103/z1sz-ly3y).

He’ll be getting stuck right into the details of FRG to identify it’s material-specific strengths and limitations.
